I couldn’t agree more – WE are the company. WE as sales counselors must represent the professionalism, experience, and quality that our builders are representing. It’s not “THEY build a great home”. It’s “WE build an outstanding home full of quality and innovative building techniques”.
It was a great pleasure to be interviewed by such an Industry Professional, Paul Montelongo. Before the actual taping we discussed ideas for discussion but when the subject of “emotion” and “rapport” came up..well you see the result. Of course exceptional knowledge of your product, area, etc is all crucial but “how” you present the information and “how” you information “gather” is more important. Plus, Love the People!

Great interview Paul, and as you said, the customers need to trust you , as well as you believing in yourself. I believe you have to have “Passion” in what you do to be successful. If you do not believe in your product you are representing, your customers will see that in your repor. I abosolutely love what I do, I have been in the New home construction for over 12 years, with different builders, and have left 2 of the builders beacuse I felt they did not have the integrity as a company up to my standards. The company I am with now – for the last 8 years, has that and much more- we are like a family and work together as team members. Making the customer feel comfortable in the process will be rewarding in itself. I have been blessed to represent my company and my new homeowners become like my family. Great success to all.
